Dr. Georgianna Laws is an online higher-education leadership practitioner and educator, as well as an award-winning speaker and scholar. As a former United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) board of directors member, Dr. Laws chaired the annual National Distance Learning Week conference between 2020 amd 2022. Her national research focuses on the legitimate power chief online education officers (COEOs) hold over online-program quality assurance in higher-education institutions in the United States.
